My first career was in social work. In college, I earned a Masters Degree and a Bachelors
Degree in Social Work. My social work
career spanned over ten years working in non-profit agencies devoted to serving
children and families.
Real estate was a natural career move for me. Since 1986, I’ve helped over 470
families
achieve their real estate dreams. My
social work skills of listening, communicating and caring have helped me earn
the trust of my clients. Many of my
buyers and sellers are previous clients or were referred to me by their friends
or family members who have worked with me.
A life-long resident of the Philadelphia western suburbs, I grew up in adjacent
Delaware County and have now lived in Chester County with my family for over 25
years.
My top personal goal has always been to live a balanced life
focused on religion, family and clients.
I am a conscientious, organized, and persistent person with a high energy level. Being physically fit is important to me. I enjoy weight lifting and walking my Golden Retriever. Other hobbies include gardening, reading,
traveling, and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
Over the years, I’ve always made time for volunteer
community service: organizing the publicity for the local parade and family day, acting as a hot-line crisis counselor for a local domestic abuse
center, working on numerous committees and projects in my
children’s schools, and serving an elected position on my neighborhood
association.
I currently volunteer on the Horse-Shoe Trail Committee for my local township. I
also serve as co-chair and founder of the RE/MAX Main Line Charitable
Foundation.
Scouting has been a favorite activity for our family.
I grew up as an active Girl Scout and served
as a Girl Scout leader while in college. With my sons, I was a Cub Scout Den Leader
and Pack
Committee Chairperson for many years. I also served as the Treasurer and Merit Badge Counselor for my son’s Boy Scout troop.
